1). Singapore

Madam Wang, 30 years old, Singapore University. Married in 1995. Visited on December 2, 1996.

Chief complaint: Married 1 year without pregnancy.

History of illness: menarche at the age of 12, regular menstruation every 28 days, each period lasting 4-5 days, medium level in quantity, dark red in color, with blood clots. Last menstrual period on December 1, 1996. Leucorrhoea in large quantity.

In November 1996 she had electrocautery operation for "medium level cervical erosion", now she had mild cervical erosion. The report of hydrotubation: unobstructed oviducts. Without using any medicines.

Diagnosis: 1. primary infertility; 2. cervicitis

Her mother called on March 5, 1997, and told me that Wang got pregnancy after taking 7 doses of herbal medicines.

2). Norway

Madam Li, 39 years old, China University of Mining and Technology. Married in 1982. Visited on February 14, 1996. 

Chief complaint: married 13 years, in recent 1 year unfertilized.

History of illness: In January 1984, she had eutocia to a boy, who was healthy, and then she adopted contraceptive tools. She gave up contraceptives since May, 1994.

In March 1995, 3 months of pregnancy, spontaneous abortion, uterine curettage, 3 days later she had infection, high fever, uterine curettage again, and hospitalization.

Menarche at age of 13, regular menstruation once every 20-28 days, each time lasting 2-5 days, small quantity, (menstrual flow became less in quantity after uterine curettage), dark in color, sometimes with blood clots, abdominal pain. Last menstrual period: January 5, 1990. 

Leucorrhoea in small quantity.

In November 1995 she came back to Xuzhou The Fourth People's Hospital, Jiangsu province, for B-ultrasonography, the report of the examination was of multiple uterine fibroids. She did not use medicines for treatment. In February 1996 she had iodolography of fallopian tube and the result was the right side salpingitis (both sides unobstructed). 

Diagnosis: 1. secondary infertility; 2. uterine fibroids; 3. oligomenorrhea; 4. the right side salpingitis.

On March 18, 1998, the patient called and told me that she was pregnant after taking herbal medicines.

3). Canada 

Madam Liu, 26 years old, Toronto, Canada. Married in 1997. Visited on January 2, 2000. 

Chief complaint: married 3 years without kids. 

History of illness: in 1998, 50 days of pregnancy, after induced abortion she had uterine curettage twice. Thereafter, she didn’t get pregnancy any more.

Menstruation: menstrual flow once every 40-50 days, each time lasting 7 days, medium level in quantity, red in color. After the uterine curettage her menstruation became delayed 10-20 days.   

Leucorrhoea: medium level in quantity, yellow in color. 

Diagnosis: 1. secondary infertility; 2. cervicitis.

Follow-up by phone call on June 9, 2003: after my herbal treatment, she gave birth to a healthy girl on April 29, 2001 in Toronto, Canada.

4). Australia

Madam Pu, 34 years old, Australia. Married in 1990. Visited on September 10, 2001.

Chief complaint: married 11 years without kids. 

History of illness: in 1999, 45 days of pregnancy, spontaneous abortion.

In October 2000, 40 days of pregnancy, spontaneous abortion. In May 2001, 60 days of pregnancy, spontaneous abortion. She came and asked for treatment. 

Menstruation: menarche at the age of 11, flow regularly once every 28 days, lasting each time 5 days, medium level in quantity, red in color. Leucorrhea normal.

In Australia Hospital the examinations reported that everything was all right. In September 2001, the B ultrasonography showed: uterine size 53×44×32mm.

Diagnosis: habitual abortion.

Her mother called on May 22, 2003 and informed me very excitedly: Pu had a eutocia to a healthy son in August 2002. 

5). Swiss 

Madam Zeng, 37 years old, Swiss. Married in 1992. Visited on April 15, 1998.

Chief complaint: married 5 years without kids. 

History of illness: in 1993, 2 months of pregnancy, induced abortion with drugs.

In 1994, 3 months of pregnancy, natural abortion. In 1996, 2 months of pregnancy, natural abortion. Thereafter, she didn’t get any more pregnancy.

Menarche at the age of 14, menstrual flow regularly once every 27-28 days, lasting each time 5 days, medium level in quantity, dark red in color, sometimes abdominal pain. Last menstrual period: April 11, 1998. Leucorrhea normal. 

In March 1997, she came from abroad back to China and had herbal treatment for 4 months in the First Affiliated Hospital, Guangzhou University of Chinese medicine. In March 1997, her hydrotubation showed: 22ml liquid injection, having resistance but not big, 14ml returned. In March 1998 in Switzerland Hospital she had B-ultrasonography and the report of which was that her right side ovarian cyst was 34×26mm in size.

Diagnosis: 1. secondary infertility; 2. right side ovarian cyst; 3. the reason of abortion needed to be investigated. On June 9, 2003, her Beijing friend told me that she was successfully pregnant and got a son after my herbal treatment.
