Full-bodied affection of my hometown

In the summer of 2008, when I was so tired on the trip of work and life, I came back in the intense heat of summer to my hometown — Xiangxi, in order to seek the power of the earth mother.

Back to Xiangxi, I was given the warm welcome by the local people. No matter where I went, I often encountered strangers who were always smile and said to me: "Dr. Mo, you are back, we often see you in the TV programs!"

In the street, in the elevator, going to the bank, walking in the park, I always met people of my hometown saying hello, kind and sweet, to me. They opened arms with broad kindness to receive wanderer coming far away, although he didn’t yet do any contribution for the hometown, they would treat him like a child of their own.

One day, I was in a taxi, chatting with the young driver, who asked me: "Where do you come from?" I said: "Beijing." He asked again: "What’s your job?" "I am a doctor." He was excited and said immediately: "We here have a doctor, going from Xiangxi to Beijing, is very famous all over the world." He looked at me and said: "It's you? I see it’s you!"  Very pleased he was, he refused to accept the fare when I got off the taxi. I had to throw ￥5 at him and ran away. 

My Tujia medicine was orginated from Xiangxi. I left Xiangxi since 1994 for Beijing, then almost stopped the service for the hometown people. In Beijing I have cured thousands of infertility patients coming from more than twenty countries and regions in the world, but the Xiangxi patients with infertility would have to travel far for treatment, and finally, when getting older in age, lose the best chance of treatment.

In the classmate party, some of my classmates blamed me: "Mo Shuzhen, you see, for more than ten years we could not get touch with you because you gave us nothing information for connection. My brother and sister-in-law married for years but couldn’t get pregnancy. We are always asking about you, but we can't find you. Now they are more than forty years old." Many people were asking: "Why we can't find you?"

I felt guilty. When I am smiling and proclaiming myself to be the first in the world, my home relatives are suffering from the pain of being difficult to find me for treatment, in the waiting the time goes by, making them lose children, lose family life.

Of course, some people who are relatively rich went to the provincial hospital for test-tube baby, but the success rate was not satisfied. 

During my work in Xiangxi, many patients who got married for some years but no pregnancy had treatment for one month and they were cured with successful pregnant. Of some patients from Zhangjiajie, the men had asthenozoospermia, and sperm survival rate was 10% only, the women had salpingitis and an ectopic pregnancy history, and they were all aged above 35 years old. After the failure of test-tube baby in Hunan Xiangya Hospital, they came to me for treatment. Ten doses of herbal medicines made them be able to get pregnancy. This story is now widely spread in Zhangjiajie. 

There were several infertility staffs of Xiangxi National Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine cured after treatment.

A woman of Luxipu city said: "Dr. Mo, if you make me cured, make me give birth to a son, my husband will award me money two hundred thousand!" Later, the woman really gave birth to a son, and her family came to my hometown to set off firecrackers for celebration.

A woman of a government organization told her husband after pregnancy with proudness that she was pregnant. Her husband said: "You don't want to cheat me, you make a joke again!" Delicate wife talked about this with full pride on her face.

The magic land is always producing myths.

If, my career is a big tree, it is rooted in my homeland Xiangxi, its branches and leaves are stretching to the whole China, to the whole world.
