8、A Flower Blossomed in Shanghai

   After finished a whole day’s work, I was going to prepare for leaving the office, suddenly, a mother and her daughter came, flower-like floating,  into the room. Against the woman of not-young age, was standing a beautiful little girl, a pink long coat made her so charming. The woman pushed the little girl to front of me and said: "Thank you, Dr. Mo, this is the beautiful baby you sent to me."

I put the hand of the angel-like pretty girl in my hand and looked at her, just like saw a blooming flower of life.

The woman laughed and said: "I am a native of Shanghai, my eldest daughter is twenty years of age! Then I wanted to have the second baby, but I could not be getting pregnancy again. In Shanghai International Maternal and Infant Hospital and Shanghai Army Hospitals I kept treatment for five years, there was no hope. I found you in 2004 and brought herbal medicines from you for three months. After taking medicines for half a month, only 30 doses, I was pregnant, you see is it magical or not? She was born when I was 48! She is seven and a half now!”

The little girl and I took some photos in my office, the girl snuggled up against me, like my daughter. I was so happy, feeling like my heart filled with honey.

They left like a gust of wind for seeing the eldest daughter of the mother and the elder sister of the little girl, for seeing the scenery of Beijing and the happy life of theirs.
